Being able to provide for yourself and or a family can be a lot. This can easily turn into long hours, over extending yourself and putting selfcare on the back burner. Defining success for yourself can be challenging as society often places this around material objects or status. You can be the president of your company, but still feel empty or have failing relationships. When we forget to take care of ourselves mentally the other accomplishments only provide momentary happiness. You can be successful in all areas of your life if you are willing to put in the work.
Substance abuse is such a common coping tool for many underlying mental health struggles. Don't keep numbing the problem let's do the work that allows you to address the underlying problem and be the person you and others deserve.
